Do you prescribe medication?
Yes. Medication management is one component of our comprehensive psychiatric care. Treatment recommendations are personalized and based on your symptoms, medical history, treatment goals, and preferences.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Good Mood Integrative Psychiatry accepts most major commercial insurance plans for psychiatric services. Insurance coverage may vary based on your specific plan and the services provided. Certain specialty services, including Functional Wellness consultations, advanced diagnostic testing, paperwork completion, and other non-covered services, may require out-of-pocket payment. Our team is happy to help you understand your benefits before your appointment.
Your initial psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive appointment designed to help us understand you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. We'll discuss your current concerns, medical and psychiatric history, lifestyle, previous treatments, and personal goals. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, laboratory testing, genetic testing, functional wellness services, or additional diagnostic evaluations when clinically appropriate.
Can I request FMLA or disability paperwork?
Yes. We complete FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, workplace accommodations, school accommodations, ESA evaluations, and other clinical documentation when medically appropriate. Because these requests require additional clinical review and time outside of scheduled appointments, administrative fees apply and do not guarantee approval. Documentation is completed only when supported by your clinical evaluation and treatment history.
Yes. Good Mood Integrative Psychiatry evaluates and treats ADHD using a personalized, evidence-based approach. When clinically appropriate, treatment may include stimulant or non-stimulant medications, behavioral strategies, and lifestyle recommendations. We may also recommend additional diagnostic tools, such as QbCheck, to further support diagnostic clarity and individualized treatment planning.
Please note: Controlled substances, including stimulant medications, are prescribed only to patients physically located in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia during their appointment and in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations. Prescribing controlled medications requires ongoing clinical monitoring and regular follow-up appointments to ensure treatment remains safe and effective.
Yes. Good Mood Integrative Psychiatry is a fully virtual practice, allowing you to receive expert psychiatric care from the comfort and privacy of your home. We currently provide telepsychiatry services to patients located in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. As we continue to grow, we look forward to expanding access to additional states. 💜

Whether you're seeking answers, navigating a life transition, or simply ready to feel more like yourself again, we're here to provide compassionate, evidence-based care designed around you.
